Am The Right Choice For Remo Federal Constituency  - Princess Elegbeji

The APC House of  Representative candidate for the August 16 bye elections in Ogun State Princess (Dr.) Adesola, Ayoola Elegbeji has stressed the need for the electorates to cast their votes for her during the election, pledging to attract Federal Government presence to her constituency and also to ensure that the people feel the pulse of good governance through proactive legislation.
Speaking during an interview in her sagamu office, the intelligent and prudent business woman turned politician stated that she was the right choice for the election. Excerpts.

Q: In summary your profile ma?
A: I graduated from the New Era Girls Secondary School Surulere Lagos in flying colours which gave me the privilege to gain admission into the Ogun State University and study Geology.
After my graduation, I did my NYSC at the NNPC and travelled abroad for my masters on intelligent management system in London. God on my side I was privileged to be employed in several companies abroad which include NAVY Evaluation Research Agency among other global companies.
In Nigeria I worked as a female consultant with LNG, British Gas, Johnson Financial, Chevron also worked as a Business Analyst project manager among others.
Because of my excellent performance in the private sector I was recently awarded Doctorate degree in a Public Institution.
In the year 2014 I contested for the Federal House of Representative and 2019 respectively but God's time is the best, infact I came second during the primaries.
I was appointed as a Commissioner at the State Judiciary Service Commission while I was able to serve Ogun State diligently.
I used to be the proprietress of an educational College in London, offering Vocational Training and some degree programs, similarly in Nigeria, I consulted for  Lead City University, British Business School as a development Education Consultant.

Q: Ijaya being the former House of Representative representing Remo Federal Constituency had laid solid foundation through implementation and execution of several projects while  in  office ,how are you prepared to build on her legacies ?
A: What happened was sad and unexpected because she was my good friend and there is no argument about the fact that I intend to continue the good works she started because she had set a standard through several projects.
She was very vocal in the floor of the House, articulate and that is a reason why the people felt I have the capacity and credibility to maintain her high standard that she started.
I will continue with her infrastructural intervention, rural electrification projects, educational support scheme, scholarship grant to pupils in public schools.
Construct additional health centers that will be well equipped.  However there is a bill for the establishment of a Federal University of Science and Technology the bill has passed second reading, it is my duty to ensure the bill sees the light of the day. I will not disappoint the electorate.

Q: Insecurity is one the challenges confronting the people of Remo Federal Constituency how do you intend to improve security in your constituency?
A: Insecurity is a challenge confronting Nigeria as a country, so it is not just peculiar to my Federal Constituency alone. But the Nigeria police is under the Federal Government and they are charged with the constitutional responsibility of ensuring safety of lives and property.
God on our side at the Green Chambers we will stress the need for the Federal Government to improve the welfare of the Nigeria police and further equipped them so that they will be up to the task of providing adequate security in the country.
In addition to that, we will also encourage the Police Service Commission to train and retrain our police on modern trend in security architecture so that they will upscale their knowledge in their area of intelligent gathering.
His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun have established the Ogun State Security Trust fund to provide support for the police and we as a Law Maker we will not fold our hands but we will continue to support the various security agencies so as to do the needful and come up with practicable solutions that will improve the safety of our people.

Q: Is there hope for women in your constituency more importantly the aged?
A: Woman are our mothers and we will do everything possible to support them by engaging them productively, mentoring them to greatness, ensuring their children are well vaccinated.
We will empower our woman so that they will be able to give adequate care for their children and also contribute effectively to the society.
Soft loans will be given to women that has small scale businesses so that they will be able to protectively grow their businesses.

Q: From your own point of view, why do you think the electorate should vote for you?
A: I intend to bring hope to hopeless and consolidate on the legacies of my predecessors in office through project implementation and execution, I can confidently tell you that I will be able to meet up with the expectations of the electorates.

Q: Lastly, how are you prepared to reduce unemployment among youths?
A: Youths are the highest percentage of the population of the country and we must do everything possible to encourage them, we will engage them productively we will organise some I.T programs, look at those that want to be employed and those that are prepared to be self employed.
We will train them and equip them, at the Federal level, considering the limitless job opportunities we will trained them in the area of automobile, I.T, energy production so that they could contribute greatly to the development of the society.
